Sunrise in the City

We don’t aim to be the biggest Funeral Directors, but we certainly aim to be the best. We strive to evolve, whilst still remaining true to our roots of continuing to respect tradition.

We constantly ask ourselves. How can we stand out? How can we display our dedication and love of the City of Chester? How can we highlight our professionalism and our keen eye for detail?

This is when we came up with the idea of……. a 4.30am photoshoot at some of Chesters much loved Landmarks. Now, some people may think we are crazy. Some however, may agree that in order for us to get the perfect shots for our website, we have to wake up early and take a stroll around our beautiful city before sunrise.

It is important to us, as a family, to provide our clients with a personal, elite service and we want to convey that through our website. We made a plan of where we wanted to go and how we wanted to display our immaculate uniforms, professionalism and precision.

Chester Cathedral, of course an absolutely stunning Landmark.

Our late Grandfather, Raymond Harty worked at The Grosvenor Hotel in 1946 when he was just fourteen so this Landmark felt particularly important to visit on our photoshoot tour.

The Eastgate clock, which when we arrived was lit up in Chester blue. Perfect timing!

Queens Park Bridge, A stone’s throw away from our peaceful, pristine premises on Queens Park View, Handbridge.

We had a wonderful time walking around our unique City, you could hear a pin drop. Incredibly peaceful and of course, beautiful. The morning filled us with so much gratitude to not only live here but to serve the people of Chester at what is often the most difficult and distressing time of their lives.
