Mum , from the very first time I was introduced to you as Daves girlfriend you were so welcoming , kind, you had so many interests and knowledge about the most obscure things, I grew to love you my wonderful mother in law whom I have had the absolute pleasure knowing for over 48 years , out of suffering now, go explore that universe with your ever devoted Harry who has been waiting for you, you are home but my goodness your legacy will live on in your grandchildren and great grandchildren , goodbye mum ❤ xx

Mum you were and still are to me the most gentlest, kindest and sweetest lady I have ever known. You were a brilliant mum and you taught me so very much. Your art work talent was something else. Whether it was painting, cross stitch, or some other endeavour of creativity, it just astounded me. You were certainly talented and it deserves mentioning… I remember as a child when you use to take me to the Odeon Saturday morning cinema and treated me to a Lucky Bag. You would drop me off there like other mums did, whilst you did some shopping in town, then come and pick me up later. Then you would take me to the market and you would treat me to a book. Every Saturday, without fail. I have a thousand and more memories like this, that reflect you as a fantastic mum, that I will always cherish. I have no doubt that you’re with Dad now looking down on us all… Mum, I love you so very much, you will be sorely missed… Thank you ❤️

Rest in peace, Gran. ❤️
I
I’ll always remember being a little boy, sitting on the arm of your chair while you sat in your favourite armchair, reading me Jack and the Beanstalk. Those are memories that have stayed with me all my life.
I’ll never forget going with Grandad to get the chips, and coming back to you making bread and butter, with the butter spread so thick you could barely see the bread!
And then, after we’d eaten, you’d say, “I’m going up to do my jigsaw.”
It’s funny how the smallest things from our childhood become some of our most treasured memories as we get older. I can still picture those moments as though they were yesterday.
Life moves on, years pass, and things change, but those memories never will.
Whatever happened along the way, you were my gran, and you always will be.
Sleep tight, Gran. Thank you for those childhood memories. ❤️
Love, your grandson Christian. xxx

“Wait a minute” – a phrase I heard you say so many times! I’m sorry you’re gone, I hope you’re having a belly laugh and a cuppa reunited with Grandad up there!!
I’ll forever keep your memories alive through me and my children, your great grand children- who I had the pleasure of introducing you to all three!
I miss you, it’s completely an end of an era.
You will always be in my thoughts and my children’s. I have said to them that you will now become a star In the sky just like Grandad and Granny Davies, so go and shine bright you amazing, creative and all round wonderful lady! Love you always, “wait a minute”….
Love Hannah, the loud one! Xxx

Thank you for the stories, Granny. Your Robert Goddard collection sits proudly on my book shelves. Thank you also for the adventures, the laughter, the jigsaw puzzles and the scrabble. Chippy chips in Fairbourne, ice creams at Parkgate, M&S biscuits, library books, healing crystals, ginger for car journeys, and lentil soup. You’ve shaped me in more ways than you could ever know, and I will always treasure the time I spent living with you and Grandad. You were such a clever, kind and sweet lady, with a wonderfully infectious laugh.
You’re deeply missed, but will always be loved and remembered.
