‘RAY’ ‘WIGGY’

Ray passed away peacefully on Friday 6th February 2026 at Beeston View Care Home, Tarporley, aged 76 years.

A dear Husband to Marion. A cherished Dad to Keith. A caring Father-in-law to Joshna.

Ray, a dearly loved Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle and Friend will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family flowers only please however a donation in lieu would be gratefully received in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Funeral Arrangements

Funeral Service to take place on Thursday 12th March 2026 at 11:00am at St John The Baptist Church, Aldford, CH3 6HW followed by a Churchyard Burial.

Following the service, those attending are warmly invited to join the family for light refreshments at Aldford Village Hall.

  • Our condolences to you all at this sad time. I have many happy memories of Wiggy during my time at The Grosvenor Arms. He was always so chirpy and chatty, I used to tease him saying the Grosvenor was a Welsh enclave. He was a real Gentleman and will be sadly missed.
