Richard passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday 29th September 2025, aged 92 years.
A Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother.
Following a ten year non stipendiary ministry coupled with teaching in Church schools and a curacy in St Chad’s Headingly, Richard served as Vicar of St Aidan’s Hellifield, as Rector of All Saints and St Peter’s Hutton and as Rector of St Hilary’s Wallasey. In retirement Richard’s voluntary ministry was largely in support of the parish of St John the Evangelist, Great Sutton, Ellesmere Port.

Funeral service to take place on Wednesday 29th October 2025 at 11:30am, at St John the Evangelist, Great Sutton, Ellesmere Port.
Following a private Burial, all are welcome at a Celebration of Life from 12:30pm at the Little Fox, Liverpool Rd, Thornton Hough, Wirral, CH64 7TL.
